Xenoblade Chronicles is Europe-only
Xenoblade was released in Japan last summer and NCS described the game thusly:
Two monolithic gods once went to war and a great battle ensued which shook the planet and roiled the heavens. Swords were swung by both sides and massive damage was done whereby both gods died from their wounds. That was a while ago but the dead hulks of both gods still stand on the battlefield facing each other. The eerie goliaths now serve as the "continents" for two races - humans live on one god which was once a living being while sentient machines reside on the other god which was a mechanical monstrosity. As the story in Xenoblade begins, the humans and machines are at odds and a new conflict is in progress.
The game was a Japanese exclusive for about a year but it's making a trip to Europe where Nintendo plans on releasing the game on September 2, 2011. The European localization will be packaged with a crimson Classic Controller Pro. How about North America? Will the Americans get a localization of the game? That's a big "NO" for now as Nintendo stated on their Facebook page:
Nintendo: Thank you for your enthusiasm. We promised an update, so here it is. We never say “never,” but we can confirm that there are no plans to bring these three games to the Americas at this time. Thanks so much for your passion, and for being such great fans!
The other two games that Ninty has no plans on bringing to North America are The Last Story and Pandora’s Tower. Gamers may try importing Xenoblade Chronicles but if your Wii's firmware has been updated recently, the Freeloader (A region-circumvention boot disc from Datel) won't work anymore. One solution is firmware hacking which allows the use of import games from Japan and Europe on the Wii. In the case of Xenoblade Chronicles which will is a PAL-format game, please be advised that not all PAL Wii games can be forced to play on NTSC Wii consoles despite the firmware hacks that are available in the wild.

AMAZING video of a twirling Finback Whale - Dana Point, CA
That's the whale's way of saying, "Hello."
Dial-up sound 700% slower (Creepy)
From the video's description: You know how when you slow a Justin Bieber song down by 800%, you get a neat ambient track? Well if you do this kind of thing with the most horrible sound in the world OH MY GOD I CAN NEVER SLEEP AGAIN
This was made with a program named PaulStretch, which can make this sort of thing from any sound files. I edited the final product a bit to remove long silences and some white noise length, and to try to even the volume out a bit. It can be downloaded here: http://hypermammut.sourceforge.net/paulstretch/

Protected by the legendary Jedi Order, the Galactic Republic stood as a bastion of peace in the galaxy for a thousand generations. Several centuries ago, the greatest threat the galaxy has ever known emerged in the form of the dark Sith Empire. After a volatile war, the Republic emerged victorious and the Sith were assumed to be extinct. Nonetheless, the Jedi have maintained a constant vigil over the ancient Sith homeworld, to protect the galaxy from the darkness that still resides in the planet's tombs.

F.B.I. seizes web servers, knocks sites offline
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/43488005/ns/technology_and_science-the_new_york_times/
The F.B.I. seized Web servers in a raid on a data center early Tuesday, causing several Web sites, including those run by the New York publisher Curbed Network, to go offline. The raid happened at 1:15 a.m. at a hosting facility in Reston, Va., used by DigitalOne, which is based in Switzerland, the company said. The F.B.I. did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the raid.
The article mentions that it was likely that the agents did not realize the one server does not equal one website that they were taking offline. One server can contain multiple VPS or shared accounts.
